Minos Beach Art Hotel is located directly by the sea, within walking distance of Agios Nikolaos. The bungalows are scattered among pine trees and rocks, each with its own spot by the water. Along the paths, artworks appear and everywhere you stay close to the sea. During the day you read on your terrace or take a swim, in the evening you sit down for dinner with a view of the horizon.

The rooms, bungalows and villas are spread along the coast and among the greenery. Inside, soft earthy tones, natural materials and an open layout create a calm atmosphere. Large windows and terraces keep the connection with the outdoors close at all times. You stay right by the sea. Some bungalows are set directly on the water, with sunbeds on your private terrace. A few steps outside is all it takes to reach the coast.
Our favourite room is the Waterfront Bungalow. A private terrace by the sea, sunbeds right by the water and complete privacy. In the morning, coffee overlooking the bay, in the evening, you sit outside a little longer until it gets dark.

Not an extensive wellness, but everything you need to truly unwind. Those who like to stay active can head from the hotel towards Agios Nikolaos for a short walk along the coast or through the village. On the property itself, it is easy to spend a few hours: swimming, walking by the water or simply easing into your day by the sea.

Bacchus Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is rooted in authentic Cretan recipes, passed down through villages across the island. Local products and traditional cooking methods form the foundation, with dishes that remain familiar and pure. Here, you enjoy the island’s classics, just as they are.
La Bouillabaisse is set by the water and focuses on fish and seafood. You will find Mediterranean dishes with a refined approach, where fresh fish and seasonal ingredients take the lead. You dine with a view of the sea, in a setting that is just as strong as what is on your plate.
Minos Beach Art Hotel is located just outside Agios Nikolaos, on the northeast coast of Crete. You can easily walk to the centre and Lake Voulismeni, where restaurants and terraces line the water.
A short distance away, you will also find Elounda and the island of Spinalonga, known for its Venetian fortress and history. For a day by the sea, head to Voulisma Beach, one of the better-known beaches in the region.
Heraklion Airport is about 60 km from the hotel.
