Day 2: Locorotondo
Explore the historic centre of Locorotondo, known for its whitewashed houses and narrow streets. Go on a treasure hunt through the town, where the children can search for historic buildings, the best shops and local works of art. Just outside Locorotondo, there are several farms where you can learn how local products, such as olive oil and cheese, are made. Feed the animals or make your own cheese; it's all possible.

Via Massafra, built on the edges of a ravine that divides the city in two, you will head to the fascinating Matera, with its numerous cave dwellings protected by UNESCO.
