This trip takes you from northern to central Italy and immerses you in the fascinating world of winemaking. You will stay in beautiful estates, historic or recent, surrounded by vineyards and grown out of love for the trade. From Lake Garda to Tuscany, proud families tell you about their garganega, nebbiolo and sangiovese grapes, about tradition and innovation, about sustainability and taste. Their passion and experience give nose and 'body' to both award-winning, and acclaimed quality wines. This experience trip will also take you past Unesco World Heritage Sites, blissful villages and historic cities. But the question remains: what is the best wine? Chianti, Valpolicella, Amarone, Albano? On this trip, you'll discover the truth: in vino veritas.
